Jack: What do you mean? Did they all die.
Ashley: They abandoned me at birth. I was a foster child until Carly's family adopted me.
Jack: -Wraps his arms around her- Ashley, why didn't you tell me. -Grabs her head and lays her head down-
Ashley: -Starts to cry-
Jack: Baby, you should've told me. I would've stopped asking a long time ago if you had told me. -Rubs her back-
Ashley: -Grabs his neck and kisses it softly-
Jack: Carly, can you watch James for us for a while? Me and Ashley need to talk alone in our room.
Carly: Okay. No problem. -Smiles- I am sorry Ash. I had to bring it up.
Jack: -Takes her hand- And then intertwines their fingers-
Ashley: Thanks Carly. I am happy you brought it up. I would've never told him about it myself.
Jack: -Wraps his arms around her- Lets go upstairs and talk.
Ashley: -Follows him upstairs to their room-
Carly: -Watches James & Connor as she unpacks the groceries-
